Music as a language of the soul the roles it play cannot be overemphasize individual around the world derived pleasure and make life easy for them. This is a study on the impact of Nigeria traditional music on the contemporary society a case study of sabo gari local government area of Kaduna. Lack of adequate fund and support from government has been a set back to the development of Nigeria traditional music lack of adequate facilities manpower factor has being a problem on the improvement of this sector. The study reveal that this traditional music enhance and promote economical socio-cultural integration among it member why in extend can united Nigeria politically with cultural diversity. Nigeria traditional music possess impacts ranging from educational, philosophical, social, cultural and political impact among human society especially Nigeria. In addition to investigates the impacts and problems facing the sector. The study examined some possible solution to tackle the problem. The methods of investigation employ in data collection were the questionnaire with total sample of two hundred (200) but the analysis was base on the filled questionnaire which is one hundred and sixty (160). It is thus recommended in this study that should be proper education on the importance of traditions and custom of the society along with enlightenment campaign seminars conferences symposium and workshop e.t.c. There should be adequate youth involvement in traditional activities both individuals and traditional rulers should preserve their customs and tradition against the foreign ones particularly master media also government should consider and provide funds as well as provide scholarship for talents individual this will go a long way in practicing our traditional music and enhance its effectiveness and efficiency.
